National Assembly for Wales

The website for the Welsh National Assembly contains a host of information including an agenda and a list of future business, including upcoming debates. There is also a list of members and an archive of past business.

National Umbrella and Resource Agency Forum

The forum provides a space for senior managers and CEOs of charities to come together and discuss issues of common concern. Members meet quarterly for thematic discussions and networking events. It receives secretariat support from the NCVO.

NAVCA

The National Association for Voluntary and Community Action is the national voice of local voluntary and community sector infrastructure in England. It provides members with information, advice, networking and learning opportunities, support and development services. All of these are reflected on the organisation's extensive website.

NCVO

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is the umbrella body representing voluntary organisations in England. As well as representing the views of the voluntary sector to government, it also produces research on the voluntary sector and offers advice and support to people working in or with the sector. Its vast website reflects all of these activities.

NCVO Collaborative Working Unit

The Collaborative Working Unit is part of the Partnerships Team at NCVO. It works with an advisory group of people from partner agencies and voluntary organisations engaged in collaborative working. Its website contains information, advice, news and case studies.

Nearbuyou

Nearbuyou is a national trading network for social enterprises and those wanting to trade with them. The site contains tenders, offers and requests. It also allows people to search for social enterprises near them. A directory of social enterprise venues can be downloaded.

Neighbourhood Renewal Unit

The NRU is responsible for overseeing the Government's comprehensive neighbourhood renewal strategy, which aims to address local needs and to pilot new ways to fight deprivation in deprived communities. The website contains a lot of information about the programmes, including funding information.

New Philanthropy Capital

NPC is a charity that advises donors and funders on how to give more effectively. It researches charities "that are achieving excellent results", and offers tailored advice to donors on how to ensure their money has high impact. Details of both of these activities can be found on the website.

NGO Manager is a Swiss-based organisation that aims to provide a comprehensive range of non-profit management services, including training courses, consultancy, and research. The website contains links to more than 300 of the best management tools and articles available on the internet.

NICVA

NICVA is the umbrella organisation for voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland, functioning as a voluntary sector development agency. Its website contains news, events, facilities, publications, research and training opportunities.

Non-Profit Times

The Non-Profit Times is a US-based business publication for non-profit management. As well as news, its website contains various background resources and guides to fundraising, technology and non-profit suppliers. It also allows users to sign up for subscriptions to the magazine and e-newsletters.

Northern Ireland Department for Social Development

The Department for Social Development has strategic responsibility for, among other things, community and voluntary sector development in the province. The website contains details of the department and its objectives, as well as links to various non-departmental public bodies including the Charities Advisory Committee.

Northern Ireland Executive

The Northern Ireland Executive's website contains information on the composition and organisation of the Northern Irish Executive when it is in operation. It also contains a link to the website of the Northern Irish Assembly.
