'Racism' tribunal adjourned to July

The employment tribunal into allegations of race discrimination and unfair dismissal at health charity Lepra was adjourned two days into the hearing.

Former Lepra employee Rokunuz Zaman, who is of Bangladeshi origin, has alleged he suffered racism and harassment while working for the Colchester-based charity. Lepra denies the allegations. The tribunal opened last week in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, but was adjourned after legal arguments about the admissibility of the statements...
