GuideStar launches volunteer recruitment facility

GuideStar UK has denied that its new facility to help charities advertise volunteering opportunities will rival online volunteer datatbase do-it.org.

The new resource allows charities to publicise opportunities on the GuideStar UK website , which will also include a new function enabling volunteers to search for opportunities by topic and location.
