Cash in CAF accounts doubles in a year

The money held in Charities Aid Foundation cash accounts has doubled from £125m to £250m in the past year.

The fixed-rate selector account, which was developed in partnership with the Birmingham Midshires bank, was set up to offer charities the financial security of a bank deposit with the guaranteed income of a fixed-interest investment.
