Controversial Children in Need promise aired again

Children in Need has refused to rule out using its controversial promise that "every penny goes to the cause" in this year's televised appeal, only weeks after coming up with a new slogan.
The charity, whose annual fundraising day takes place on 16 November, has been criticised in the past by the Institute of Fundraising and donor information website Intelligent Giving for its promise because it does not take administration costs into account.
