New foundation will give cash to kids charities

The financial services industry has launched a new foundation that aims to raise £3m this year for five children's charities.

The Fund Aid Foundation, set up and chaired by investment veteran John Kennedy, will distribute money to the Acorns Children’s Hospice, the Association for Children’s Palliative Care (ACT), the Children’s Trust, Clic Sargent and Treehouse.
