£1.6m council funding to tackle child poverty

London Councils has announced £1.6m funding over the next four years for voluntary groups tackling the impact of child poverty in the capital.
The fund is open for applications from organisations helping to tackle issues highlighted by the London Child Poverty Commission. Applications must be submitted to London Councils, which represents London’s 33 local authorities, by 11 July. Funding bids must cover two or more boroughs....
