An online course designed to assist people seeking a new career in the voluntary sector has opened for enrolment.
Effective Voluntary Sector Management, run by the Working For A Charity initiative at the NCVO, is aimed at people who have recently joined the sector or who are looking to make a career move into it.
Modules include Introduction to the Voluntary Sector, Marketing and Communications, Fundraising, Employment, Volunteering, Financial Management and Governance.
Working for a Charity is part of the UK Workforce Hub, which is hosted by the NCVO. It is run to make voluntary and community organisations better places to work.
Candidates can enrol for the next course that runs from October 2008 to May 2009.
