Cemvo

The Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations is a registered charity dedicated to building the capacity and advocating on behalf of minority ethnic voluntary organisations. ChangeUp

ChangeUp is a Capacitybuilders initiative aimed at building capacity and infrastructure within the voluntary and community sectors. The website contains a lot of information including news, resources and details of ChangeUp's regional and national projects.

Charities Aid Foundation

The CAF works to raise the profile of giving, lobbies for tax breaks and provides various services to charities and donors. Those services include advice for individuals on finding and donating tax efficiently to charities, help with setting up company donation, volunteering and community investment schemes. Charity Skills

Charity Skills aims to support trustees, chief executives and senior managers in running their organisations through skill-building and providing high quality, low-cost web solutions to charities. The website reflects these activities, which are enhanced for members.

Community Foundation Network

The Community Foundation Network represents the UK community foundation movement in the UK. Community foundations manage funds donated by individuals and organisations wanting to make a genuine difference in their communities. Community Matters

Community Matters, formerly the National Federation of Community Associations, is a national membership organisation for community associations. The organisation's website contains details of policy, projects, resources and services, as well as membership details.

Directory of Social Change

The DSC aims to be an internationally recognised independent source of information and support to voluntary and community sectors worldwide. The website reflects the organisation's many activities, including running conferences and training courses, and researching and publishing reference guides and online information.

impACT Coalition

The ImpACT coalition (Improving Accountability, Clarity and Transparency) is an NCVO initiative aimed at working with the UK's top 100 charities, and a broad cross-section of smaller ones, to improve public trust and confidence in the voluntary sector through evidence and openness. LGBT Consortium

The Consortium of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgendered Community and Voluntary Sector Organisations is a membership organisation supporting and advocating on behalf of such groups. Its website allows groups to sign up for free membership.

National Umbrella and Resource Agency Forum

The forum provides a space for senior managers and CEOs of charities to come together and discuss issues of common concern. Members meet quarterly for thematic discussions and networking events. It receives secretariat support from the NCVO.

NCVO

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is the umbrella body representing voluntary organisations in England. As well as representing the views of the voluntary sector to government, it also produces research on the voluntary sector and offers advice and support to people working in or with the sector. NICVA

NICVA is the umbrella organisation for voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland, functioning as a voluntary sector development agency. Its website contains news, events, facilities, publications, research and training opportunities.

The Professionals4free website has been designed for voluntary organisations looking for free help from professionals, and professionals who want to volunteer their services. It contains some general information and contains links to brokers who match requests for help with offers of free or subsidised professional services.

SCVO

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the national body representing the voluntary sector in Scotland. Its website contains a large amount of policy documents, information about the sector, and details of services, resources, training and events.

VolResource

VolResource aims to provide practical resources for people involved in charities, voluntary or community organisations. Its website carries briefings, contact information, specialist sources, suppliers and news. It also contains a wide range of links to other relevant websites.

WCVA

The WCVA is a membership organisation and for the voluntary sector in Wales. Its website contains a huge amount of information, including policy documents, training and networking opportunities, a forum and details about grant and loans.

Women's Resource Centre

The Women's Resource Centre is a charity which lobbies on behalf of women's voluntary organisations and provides them with training, information, resources and one-to-one support. Its website contains details of all of these activities and also includes job and volunteering opportunities.
